Alloway Awarded the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce 2021 Small Business of the Year
At the 19th Annual Awards Gala held on June 9, 2021, the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce named Alloway as the 2021 Small Business of the Year. The chamber considered several nominees in categories for women-owned businesses, small businesses, emerging businesses, nonprofits and community leaders. Alloway’s demonstrated financial strength, history of growth, and commitment to the local community were key components to its selection as the winner for this prestigious award.
“Even after 40 years in business, Alloway continues to push forward with innovative ideas and creative services designed to meet the needs of our customers. This previous year marked tremendous expansions of various product and service offerings,” states Jessica Begonia, Alloway’s Director of Marketing.
In the last few years, Alloway’s services expanded to include respirometry equipment sales and respirometry analysis. And in February 2019, Hoffman Analytic Services started a new division EnviroGo. EnviroGo offers state of the art customized mobile field and sampling stations. The first prototype was completed in April 2019 with additional models under development.
“We are honored to be chosen as the Lima Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year.” said John Hoffman, CEO of Alloway. “We want to thank the Allen County Community, our dedicated team of employees, and our loyal customers for this opportunity.”
Alloway is committed to continuing its success as a small business leader for many years to come.
